For more than 35 years, the people that make up the Solid Surfaces NY teams in Rochester, NY and Buffalo, NY have provided quality custom countertops suited to meet the needs of all of our customers. We work with both residential and commercial clients, and are committed to providing every customer with only the finest quartz, granite, porcelain, and solid surface products.
Our Mission
We are proud to help homeowners transform their bathrooms and kitchens with custom countertop installation services. Furthermore, we are proud to work with a number of kitchen and bath dealers, providing independent dealers with professional countertop fabrication services.
Since our beginning, we have always been on the cutting edge of advances in surface materials and custom fabrication methods. Solid Surfaces NY was fortunate to partner with DuPont™ fabricators in the 1980s to field test new fabrication processes. As granite started to become popular in the late 90’s, again, Solid Surfaces NY was the fabricator stone suppliers turned to for developing new methods and processes to cut stone. As quartz entered the picture, the products that Solid Surfaces NY offered became the standard in Western NY.

Our History and Focus
Through the past 35 years, our structure may have changed, but quality and craftsmanship have remained our focus.
Originally founded back in 1984, the company entered the marketplace under the name Solid Surfaces Inc. In January of 2017, the company was purchased by a private equity group and rebranded under the banner of Premier Surfaces. The company, now within a family of six other fabricators throughout the country, was the top division within the larger corporation.
2020 brought about significant changes as Premier Surfaces disbanded, with the closing of the other five locations, and the survival of the Western NY Division. Local ownership and control was restored to Western NY, where the employees and the company are proud to be returning to their heritage under the Solid Surfaces banner. Locally-owned and controlled again allows the Solid Surfaces team to focus on the needs of the Western NY market and focus on the needs of our customers more intently.
